Privacy Policy

Club Predict ("we", "us") is a football prediction game available at clubpredict.com and as a mobile app. You predict match scores in private groups and compete with friends over a season. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Club Predict is operated by Kasper Hartwich, Denmark. For anything related to your data, contact [email protected].

What we collect

Account details — your name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, we instead receive your name, email address, a profile-image link, and the provider's account identifier. We never see your social-account password.
Game data — your predictions, points, group memberships, and group leaderboard positions. This is the product: your predictions and scores are visible to the other members of the groups you join, and become visible to them once a match's predictions lock.
Content you add — group names, descriptions, and group images you upload.
Technical data — like almost every web service, our servers keep short-lived request logs (IP address, browser/app identifier, time) for security and troubleshooting. The website uses a session cookie; the mobile app authenticates with an access token instead of cookies.

What we don't do

No advertising, and no advertising trackers.
No third-party analytics profiling.
We never sell or rent your personal data.

Why we process it

To run the game (contract): accounts, predictions, groups, leaderboards.
To keep the service secure (legitimate interest): request logs, login protection.
To contact you about your account (contract): e.g. password-reset emails. We don't send marketing email.

Who we share it with

Other players — members of your groups see your name, avatar, predictions, and points. People outside your groups do not.
Sign-in providers — if you use Facebook, Google, or Apple sign-in, the login itself happens with that provider under their own privacy policy.
Our hosting providers — the servers that run Club Predict, acting on our instructions.

Match fixtures and results come from football-data.org; no personal data is ever sent there.

How long we keep it

Your account and game data are kept for as long as you have an account. Server request logs are kept briefly and rotated automatically. When your account is deleted, your personal data is removed; see data deletion for exactly what happens.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or object to processing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within a month. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet).

Children

Club Predict is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above.
